Painting inspiration:

This painting was inspired by the idea that even in our darkest moments, there is always a small light within us that can guide us forward.

I imagined a little girl sitting among the delicate petals of a flower, holding a glowing light in her hands. To me, she represents the innocent and hopeful part of ourselves—the part that continues to believe in beauty, even when life feels heavy. The flower surrounding her symbolises growth, protection and the gentle process of healing.

The light she holds is not just a physical glow; it represents hope, inner strength and the warmth we sometimes find in unexpected places. The deep shadows around her contrast with the soft light, reminding us that healing does not mean darkness disappears. Rather, it means learning to carry our own light through it.

“Healing Light” is my reminder that even the smallest spark of hope can help us find our way back to ourselves.
